“It takes an eye for knowledge of design materials. Concern for the environment. The love for details, the respect for family and the courage to think differently.”

We strongly presume that Seaman’s Crew fashion is giving each individual person the feeling of joy. To secure this pure feeling we strongly believe in long-lasting quality of fashion and becoming step by step a more sustainable business.

Sustainability is a tremendously important point for us. Thus we want to take on responsibility for the people of the world and the planet itself. We are printing on demand, meaning we are only producing when ordered. Therefore we can reduce the waste of our production line. Moreover Seaman's Crew is a partner and member of various organizations to certify the will to make visible and sustainable change.

  • Global Organic Textile Standard

GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

Having one common standard means textile processors and manufacturers can export their fabrics and garments with one organic certification that is accepted in all major markets. This transparency also gives consumers the power to choose truly organic products sourced from green supply chains.

  • Fair Wear Foundation (Fair Wear)

We are a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (Fair Wear) which is an independent, non-profit organization that works to improve conditions for workers in garment factories. The Fair Wear mission is to realize a world where the garment industry supports workers in realizing their rights to safe, dignified and properly paid employment.

  • Empower As (Ocean Cleaning)

Empower is creating a solution for the plastic waste problem by giving plastic value. We are cleaning up the world while fighting poverty by providing a wage to those in need.

Empower is now in more than 20 countries incentivising the collection of plastic waste.

  • The Organic Content Standard (OCS)

It is an international, voluntary standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of certified organic input and chain of custody. The goal of the OCS is to increase organic agriculture production.

  • PETA approved Vegan

The logo “PETA approved Vegan” identifies clothing, accessories, furniture, and home decor items made of vegan alternatives to animal-derived materials, such as leather, fur, silk, feathers, and bone. The logo helps consumers identify vegan items at a glance while shopping and make purchases that align with their values.

  • Eden Reforestation Projects

Eden Reforestation Projects - It takes a village to raise a forest!

The Eden Reforestation Projects are working with local communities to work with them alongside to produce, plant, and protect tens of millions of trees every month, thereby creating jobs to support the communities in restoring their local environment and economy long-term. They work with grit and relentless determination through a range of challenges, from extreme weather and landslides, to poachers, bandits, and wild animals.
